Envision Dental Patients and Families,
We are excited to be open and treating our patients again! Thank you for trusting us with your dental needs.
We want you to know that we are taking extra steps to further keep you, your family and our team safe. Dr. Bowers recently had a state of the art air purification unit installed, as well as chairside aerosol evacuation systems.
We have always used the highest standard of practices for keeping our patients and staff safe from any threat of the transmission of diseases. However, in order to accommodate current new needs and regulations, our office will run differently, and it will look different as well.
The intent of this letter is to familiarize you with these changes prior to your next office visit.
From now on appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
On the day of your appointment we will ask for you to text or call us from your vehicle and let us know that you have arrived. We will let you know when it is time for you to come in. You will then be offered hand sanitizer and asked to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire.
We will be taking and recording your temperature at the front desk. If you have a temperature above 99.9° F, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment. Our team will also be having daily temperature checks to ensure that no one who is symptomatic will be present in the office.
In order to further prevent any possible cross-contamination, our reception area will also be closed. We are asking that family and friends not come to your appointment with you unless the appointment is for a minor or you are needing help physically inside the building.
After your intake, we will escort you to the room where you will be met by your provider.
When checking out if you have a co-pay we will still collect at time of service. Our front office team will have everything ready for you to streamline the time you spend at the front desk and keep you safe. During this change we ask for your patience with our new protocols and procedures. Our main goal is to take care of you as patients, team, and our families.
We again thank you for trusting us with your dental needs and appreciate your understanding as we implement these new protocols, which are designed for your health and safety. Please also understand that as government rules and regulations change, we may need to further modify our protocols.
